We can’t think of a better way to CELEBRATE THE MOMS IN OUR LIVES on Mother's Day!  Join Shannon Rowbury, three time Olympian and World Championship Medalist as we launch our 5K Race and FESTIVAL concept combining the three things that we love the most: Quality Racing, Family Fun, and Food.

This healthy alternative to your typical Mother's Day Celebration includes a 5K and Kid's races followed by brunch and fun activities in a carnival game setting for family members spanning all generations.  Bring your Kids, Grannies and Gramps, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Colleagues, Friends, and Neighbors to cheer you on during your race. After the races, there will be plenty of activities to entertain and challenge all generations including the Teens, Tweens, and Littles.

EARLY REGISTRATION INCENTIVES:

1. Registrants 1-25 will receive a Nike running hat PLUS incentives #2-3 below
2. Registrants 26-50 will receive a laminated warmup and cool down workout sheet including skills and drills that sustained Shannon Rowbury’s 15 year professional running career PLUS incentive #3 below
3. Registrants 51-150 will be entered into an exclusive raffle drawing for a $150 spending credit on the Nike Elite website (a shopping site exclusively for Nike pro athletes)

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:

NOTE:  Wristbands to enter the FESTIVAL + 1 FESTIVAL ticket are included as part of the registration fee for all LIVE Registration Categories. Additional FESTIVAL tickets are available for purchase during online registration and onsite on race day.  YOU MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL.  Non racing family and friends who wish to enjoy the FESTIVAL can register under the "Festival Only" Category. 

Once the racing is done, keep the Mother's Day Celebration going at the FESTIVAL located in the Presidio Sports Basement. 

Shake your booty to DJ MUSIC.  Partake in a community GIANT JENGA game.

Additional FESTIVAL offerings include (tickets required):  AIRBRUSH TATTOOS, CARNIVAL GAMES, SCAVENGER HUNT or a DRINK. 

Throughout the FESTIVAL, we will announce RAFFLE PRIZE winners (Raffle tickets required / must be present to win).  

BRUNCH will be available onsite for your enjoyment (must be pre-purchased during online registration).

GETTING TO OUR EVENT / PARKING:

• Transportation Apps (Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc.):  Drop off and Pick up Location:  Presidio Sports Basement (610 Old Mason Street)
• Public Transit: 
  • Muni 30 Route: Picks up at several locations in downtown San Francisco, offers service to the Presidio’s Crissy Field and terminates at the parking lot next to the Presidio Sports Basement.
  • Presidio Go Shuttle:  Picks up at Embarcadero BART, the Transbay Terminal, and at Van Ness Avenue/Union Street and terminates at the Presidio Transit Center (7 min walk from transit center to Presidio Sports Basement)
• Parking:  We encourage you to take public transit or use transportation Apps if possible.  Parking is available on a first come-first served basis at the following lots:
  • Palace of Fine Arts (3399 Lyon Street) – 17 min walk to Sports Basement
  • Presidio Main Post (122 Anza Avenue) – 11 min walk to Sports Basement
  • Crissy Field East Beach
  • Presidio Sports Basement (610 Old Mason Street)

Imagining More Foundation (IMF) has been set up as the Charity Beneficiary for all direct donations made through this event.  100% of the proceeds from the FESTIVAL ticket sales and your donations will support Imagining More Foundation's "Youth Empowerment Through Sport" Running Camps benefitting underserved greater Bay Area children and their coaches.

IMF's mission is to support youth athletes through their athletic, educational, and professional journeys. Through our Empowerment Through Sport Youth Running Camps, we empower athletes to achieve their dreams, regardless of their background and socioeconomic status.
